• Own and manage the P&L of the brokerage division, ensuring revenue growth, cost control, and profitability.
• Lead the development and execution of commercial strategies in both retail and corporate insurance sectors.
• Oversee daily operations, ensuring a high standard of service delivery to clients.
• Build and manage a sales-driven culture focused on performance and accountability.
• Drive revenue growth through effective telesales leadership, including managing sales operations and KPIs.
• Develop and implement strategies for pricing, insurer negotiations, and product placements.
• Ensure compliance with insurance regulations and broker compliance standards, particularly in the GCC/Bahrain region.
• Foster relationships with insurers and manage negotiations for both retail and corporate risks.
• Implement digital distribution strategies and enhance online sales journeys to maximize revenue opportunities.
• Identify operational issues, implement solutions, and measure outcomes to drive continuous improvement.
• Mentor and develop a high-performing team, addressing underperformance decisively and fostering a culture of accountability.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Insurance, Risk Management, or a related discipline.
• Professional insurance qualification (mandatory): Cert CII (Chartered Insurance Institute – UK) or equivalent; ACII strongly preferred.
• Ongoing professional development in insurance, brokerage operations, sales leadership, or digital distribution is an advantage.
• Minimum of 5 years in a senior management role within an insurance brokerage (GM, MD, Deputy GM, Head of Brokerage, Head of Sales, etc.).
• Proven track record of owning the P&L for an insurance broker, including revenue growth and margin optimization.
• Extensive knowledge of retail and corporate insurance operations, including compliance and regulatory frameworks.
• Strong leadership and people management skills, with a focus on building performance-driven teams.
• Hands-on experience with telesales operations, sales KPIs, and motivational strategies for sales teams.
• In-depth understanding of digital insurance distribution, including aggregator platforms and online sales strategies.
