Job Details

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Chief Accountant to lead our finance team in the dynamic gold and real estate industry. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in overseeing all accounting operations, ensuring financial accuracy, and contributing to strategic financial planning. Responsibilities: - Lead and manage the accounting team to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting. - Oversee daily accounting operations including ledger management, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation. - Ensure compliance with local accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies. - Coordinate and prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial plans in alignment with company objectives. - Collaborate with senior management to analyze financial data and provide actionable insights. - Manage audit processes and liaise with external auditors. - Implement and improve financial control systems to mitigate risks. - Supervise accounts payable and receivable functions to maintain healthy cash flow.

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred. - Minimum of 7 years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership roles. - Strong knowledge of Bahrain's accounting standards, tax laws, and regulatory requirements. - Proven expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, and accounting software. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with great attention to detail. - Strong leadership and team management capabilities. - Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. - High level of integrity and confidentiality in handling financial information.
