Job Details

Key Result Areas: 


  1. Prepare and draft charter party agreements for vessels employed on voyage/time chartering arrangements using the company’s terms and conditions or any other recognised industry standards, to ensure that all possible points/issues are covered and safe guarding company’s interest in case of any dispute. 
  2. Monitor the performance of the chartered vessels with respect to quantities loaded/discharged, vessels arrival information, loading/discharge details, and voyage instructions, to ensure that transactions are in compliance with the contract and all details are captured in case of arbitration is required to resolve any dispute. 
  3. Verify charter party agreements of vessel employed on voyage/time charter agreement in accordance with the company’s terms and conditions.

Knowledge Skills and Experience: 


•Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent. BSc. in Maritime studies is highly desired.


•Minimum 7 years' experience in Shipping Operations, Logistics, Planning & Marine Operations, especially in the petroleum industry.


•Detailed knowledge of Marine chartering and knowledge of current trends in petroleum shipping and maritime laws, oil tanker operations and product specifications


•Experience in dealing with multinational vessel owners, brokers, shipping agents and international logistics providers.


•Computer literate and working knowledge of computer business applications.


•Knowledge of HSEQ requirement.
