SUMMARY The Spa Manager is responsible for the hotels Spa facilities, managing the daily operations, leading a team of spa professionals, and promoting spa services to maximize revenue and guest satisfaction.
The incumbent will combine strategic thought and planning to enhance the growth and profitability of the department to deliver upon the following business objectives: revenue maximization, cost control, service quality (OSAT), Quality Audit, employee engagement within the SPA team, and health & safety compliance.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensures an overall smooth running of the Spa department.
- Ensures the company and Spa brand protocols are being followed.
- Supervise and coordinate all spa operations, including spa services, facilities, and team scheduling to ensure smooth and efficient day-to-day operations.
- Monitor and maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety throughout the spa facility.
- Ensure exceptional guest experiences by maintaining high standards of service, and professionalism.
- Analyze guest feedback and OSAT scores, to create effective action plans to continuously drive the guest experience and high-quality service delivery.
- Respond promptly to guest feedback and concerns, resolving issues to ensure guest satisfaction and retention.
- Recruit, train, and supervise spa staff, including therapists, estheticians, receptionists, and support staff.
- Provide leadership, coaching, performance management conversations and yearend performance reviews to drive development. motivation and performance.
- In conjunction with the Sales & Marketing department, develop and implement sales strategies to promote spa services, packages, and retail products to achieve revenue targets.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop marketing initiatives, promotions, and campaigns to attract new clients and retain existing ones.
- Participate in marketing events, trade shows, and community outreach activities to promote the spa and increase brand awareness.
- Manage inventory levels of spa products, supplies, and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels and cost-effective procurement.
- Establish relationships with suppliers and negotiate contracts to secure competitive pricing and quality products.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards for spa operations, treatments, and facilities.
- Responsible for the SPA budgeting and forecast.
- Monitor spa financial performance, analyze sales data, and implement strategies to optimize revenue and profitability.
- Prepare and manage the spa budget, monitoring expenses, revenue projections, and profitability targets.
- Analyze financial reports, identify variances, and implement corrective actions as needed to achieve financial goals.
- Develop and introduce new spa treatments, packages, and wellness programs based on market trends and guest preferences.
- Continuously evaluate and enhance spa services and offerings to meet changing customer needs and industry trends.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to spa operations, staff schedules, client bookings, and financial transactions.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and updates for senior management on spa performance and initiatives.
