B2B Marketing Lead

Job Overview:

As the B2B Marketing Lead at HIGHBASE TRADING W.L.L, you will be responsible for leading both local and international marketing and telemarketing teams for our B2B e-marketplace platform. This role involves managing B2B marketing strategies, vendor engagement, and telemarketing operations, while overseeing a remote team and collaborating with key stakeholders. You will be instrumental in executing marketing campaigns, developing relationships with key vendors, and driving both online and offline marketing initiatives. Your role will also involve managing telemarketing efforts to generate leads and build lasting vendor partnerships across different regions.

This is a pivotal role as we build the region’s largest B2B FMCG e-marketplace, and you will have the opportunity to shape the marketing function for both local and international markets.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Vendor Onboarding and Engagement:
  • Market to potential vendors and key accounts, inviting them to join and register on our marketplace.
  • Assist with the onboarding process, providing guidance and support to ensure a smooth vendor integration experience.
  • Develop initial marketing communications to engage and attract new vendors.
  1. Marketing Strategy and Execution:
  • Lead the creation and execution of comprehensive B2B marketing strategies both online (e.g., email marketing, social media) and offline (e.g., key account marketing, trade shows).
  • Leverage digital marketing techniques to drive vendor engagement, customer acquisition, and increase platform visibility and traffic.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends to adjust strategies and stay competitive.
  1. Telemarketing and Lead Generation:
  • Oversee telemarketing efforts and lead generation initiatives, managing both local and remote teams.
  • Develop and execute telemarketing strategies, focusing on lead generation, cold calling, and email marketing.
  • Create and manage automated email sequences and CRM tools to nurture leads through the sales funnel.
  1. Remote Team Leadership and Strategy:
  • Manage and lead an international remote telemarketing team, setting clear goals and expectations to meet sales targets.
  • Hire and mentor telemarketing and service team members, ensuring that they align with the company’s marketing goals.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure cohesive marketing efforts across regions.
  1. Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts and vendors, fostering long-term partnerships.
  • Provide vendors with insights and recommendations to optimize their performance on the marketplace.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and client meetings to promote the marketplace and engage vendors.
  1. Service Center Operations:
  • Oversee the service center operations, ensuring incoming vendor and customer queries are handled promptly.
  • Troubleshoot issues related to vendor accounts and ensure smooth operation of the B2B order center.
  1. Performance Analysis:
  • Track and analyze the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and telemarketing efforts, providing reports and insights to the management team.
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to optimize marketing and sales performance.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in B2B marketing and telemarketing management, with the ability to execute both digital and physical marketing strategies.
  • Strong experience in CRM systems, lead generation, and lead nurturing techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with vendors and key stakeholders.
  • Leadership skills with a track record of managing remote teams and service center operations.
  • Proficiency in e-commerce marketing tools and techniques (e.g., email marketing, SEO, PPC, social media).
  • Willingness to travel frequently for B2B marketing efforts and vendor engagements.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in B2B marketing, telemarketing management, or a similar role.
  • Experience managing international remote teams is preferred.
