Director - MEP
The MEP Director is responsible for the overall operations of the department ensuring that the resources are fully utilized to deliver projects on time and budget. This will involve winning work, client care, recruitment, mentoring and leading teams to prepare engineering designs. The MEP Director creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the department and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. The MEP Director is a detail-oriented team player with the ability to manage multiple people, tasks, produce quality work, and consistently meet deadlines. The MEP Director is an important part of the company management and must be a subject matter expert in providing advice and guidance with respect to all mechanical, electrical and plumbing and fire protection aspects of projects. The MEP Director will work under the direction of the Executive Director and Managing Director to ensure that the process is managed timely and efficiently. Furthermore, the Director needs to be involved with bidding and business development to help with the organic growth of the department.

- Team-oriented, highly skilled, adaptive, and client-focused
- Proven track record of managing MEP division.
- Strong working knowledge of basic computer programs including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Project
- In depth knowledge and ability to navigate MEP Coordination Tools and Programs including but not limited to BIM, Navisworks,
- Full knowledge of Statutory Authorities requirements, knowledge of codes, regulations and submission requirements.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Energy or Construction Engineering
- Chartered Engineer
- Project Management certification will be an added advantage
Required Experience
- 24+ years of experience in the field of MEP Construction engineering
- Of above at least 10 years of active working experience under similar business field and demonstrable working experience
