ABOUT THE JOB

We are looking for a Civil Senior Engineer to join us in Bahrain.


Job description:

  • Construction Supervision Inspector for a Desalination Plant in Bahrain- Civil Works.
  • In an EPC Contract model, supervising the EPC Contractor Civil Works on site.
  • Duration: around 15 months.
  • His Role will be Civil Inspector Supervisor on-site.
  • Review & approve Contractor’s prepared Main Procedures such as QA/QC, Construction Procedures, Progress Controlling.
  • Daily monitoring of ongoing construction works at site.
  • Hold and attend regular site meetings with the Contractor and submit the MOM to the Owner.
  • Monitor/inspect civil works construction field tests, material sampling, and laboratory test results issuing Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) and SOR (Site observation Reports) when aplicable as part of Quality checking.
  • Prepare Monthly Reports for the Owner.
  • Review and approve interim and final Payment Certificates from Contractor
  • Inform and assist the Owner in any claim/change order request from Contractor.
  • Identify any Risks and issues at site and report the same to owner and Project manager.

ABOUT YOU


Apply if you have:

  • A university degree in Civil Engineering with seniority of at least 8 years’ experience.
  • Good command over writing & speaking English.
  • Ability to deliver under tight deadlines.
  • Must have experience in civil construction supervision/management and particularly in desalination projects of at least 5 years.


Preferred:

  • Have also experience in schedule controlling, costs controlling of construction.
  • Advanced mastery of MS PowerPoint and familiarity with MS Office (Word, Excel).
  • It is desirable he has experience in progress control and cost control (certifications) in EPC contracts and a wide vision of a Desalination plant construction.
  • Driving license.
