Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook high quality Italian cuisine dishes according to the restaurant's recipes
- Supervise and coordinate activities of the assigned station in the kitchen
- Assist in the development and creation of new dishes and menu items
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen station
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff
- Collaborate with the Head Chef and Sous Chef to achieve culinary excellence
Skills
Essential Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Chef De Partie or relevant position in Italian cuisine
- Strong knowledge of Italian culinary techniques, ingredients, and flavors
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Attention to detail and creativity in food presentation
- Valid food handling certificate
Desired Experience:
- 5-10 years of experience working in Italian restaurants or similar establishments
- Demonstrated ability to lead a team and deliver exceptional dishes consistently
- Experience in menu development and costing
