Demi Chef de partie (DCDP) -Italian cuisine

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation of Italian cuisine dishes as per the recipes and standards set by the Head Chef.
  • Ensure high-quality food preparation, cooking, and presentation of all Italian dishes.
  • Support in maintaining cleanliness and order in the kitchen areas, including storage spaces and workstations.
  • Work closely with the culinary team to coordinate kitchen activities and ensure timely food service.
  • Contribute to menu planning, recipe development, and innovation in the Italian cuisine section.
  • Adhere to food safety and sanitation regulations at all times.
  • Assist in inventory management, stock rotation, and ordering of ingredients necessary for Italian dishes.
  • Collaborate with the Chef de Partie and Sous Chef in various kitchen duties as needed.


Skills

Essential Qualifications:

  • Culinary diploma or degree in Food Production or related field.
  • Prior experience in Italian cuisine cooking techniques and dishes.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately.

Desired Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a professional kitchen environment, preferably in Italian cuisine.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced restaurant setting.
  • Knowledge of kitchen equipment and tools used in Italian cuisine cooking.
