The Business Development Manager (BDM) role plays a crucial part of our vision. The role entails leading business development initiatives, identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and driving growth through strategic partnerships and collaboration. The role is a full-time on-site role at Beyon Connect in Bahrain.


Role Responsibilities:


Strategic -


  • Work closely with the CEO and relevant stakeholders to prepare in-depth strategy for further business development of products during and after their deployment.
  • Drive and monitor performance against targets in terms of relevant KPIs.
  • Lead the strategy for business development, partnerships and external relationships.
  • Represent the company and its products in the best fit when meeting external clients and partners.
  • Identify, compare, select go to market strategy to meet current and future market needs.


Financial-


  • Work closely with CEO and relevant stakeholders to prepare KPIs, report, deliver, and take corrective action in case of any deviation.
  • Develop, track and control the annual operating and capital budgets for staffing and operations of Business Development Regional Department.


Operational-


  • Build and maintain relations with clients (public sector and private sector).
  • Review and comment on products and value-proposition (pre-launch and post-launch), work closely with relevant stakeholders for any required changes, recommendations and improvements.
  • Handle all clients’ queries and requests in addition to their business proposals/contracts.
  • Negotiate with relevant stakeholders.
  • Prepare business proposals, draft and review contracts; liaise with the appointed legal counselors.
  • Establish and maintain a detailed database on clients’ profile.
  • Provide necessary details to make sure CRM system is updated regularly.
  • Develop new business deals, growth strategy, prepare client presentations, and market new products by actively meeting the clients, attending relevant events and seminars.
  • Identify and map business strengths and customers’ needs.
  • Follow industry trends and standards locally and internationally.
  • Provide CEO information relating to the status of client accounts on a regular basis and when required.

  • Business Development, sales, and client relationship management skills
