This role will be part of a Project Management Consultancy (PMC) project in Oman for HQC-Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will provide technical management for electrical engineering, ensuring the project is completed on time and to a high-quality standard. For the role of Discipline Lead, in addition to strong technical skills, candidates should possess excellent organizational and coordination abilities and be able to lead a team.

Key Responsibilities:

· Oversee all aspects of electrical engineering on each project, ensuring timely and quality completion.

· Review and approve electrical designs from all EPC or design contractors.

· Prepare, review, and approve all electrical engineering deliverables.

· Strictly control project schedules to ensure all work progresses as planned.

· Actively participate in feasibility studies and provide technical support for project decision-making.

· Promote the application of new technologies in projects to enhance project technical levels.

· Collaborate with domestic and international suppliers to complete equipment testing and design reviews.

· Participate in the preparation of tender documents to ensure a fair and transparent procurement process.

· Participate in tender clarifications and evaluations, and select the optimal suppliers.

· Be responsible for project closure and conduct a comprehensive summary/ evaluation for the electrical engineering part.

· Guide and train local young engineers and provide development programs.

Skills

· Bachelor's degree or above in Electrical Engineering.

· At least 12 years of experience in oil & gas engineering.

· At least 5 years of experience in the design, installation, and commissioning of high-voltage equipment and renewable energy.

· Experience in international engineering projects, with a thorough understanding of international standards in the field.

· Proficient in the principles and applications of low and high-voltage electrical systems.

· Ability to lead electrical design reviews and coordinate multidisciplinary collaboration.

· Strong communication, leadership, and coordination skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.

· Fluent in English for business communication; Arabic language skills are a plus.

· Strong sense of responsibility and dedication, able to model adherence to the management requirements of the Oman client and the relevant management systems of HQC-Abu Dhabi.
