Company Description Talent International & The Infant School, licensed by the Ministry of Education in the Kingdom of Bahrain, offers a comprehensive Cambridge and English National curriculum for students aged 3 months to 18 years. Established in 1971 as a preschool, the institution has grown to provide education through primary, intermediate, and secondary levels, preparing students for Cambridge IGCSE, AS, and A-levels, as well as internal school exams. Role Description We are seeking a Head of Department (HOD) for all subjects to oversee academic programs, ensure curriculum alignment, and support teaching staff in achieving excellence across the school. Responsibilities include supervising and mentoring teachers, coordinating curriculum development, monitoring lesson planning and implementation, and fostering an optimal learning environment for students. The HOD will also assist in preparing students for key exams and align teaching strategies with school goals. This is a full-time, on-site role located in our Busaiteen Campus, Bahrain.
Qualifications
Minimum 3 years teaching experience Strong interpersonal and team management skills to mentor and support teaching staff Knowledge of Cambridge curriculum Proficiency in using technology and educational tools to enhance teaching and learning processes Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills Flexibility and adaptability to manage dynamic educational environments Proven experience in an academic leadership role, preferably as a Head of Department or equivalent Bachelor’s degree in Education or a relevant field (a teaching certification is preferred) Passion for education and a commitment to fostering student success and teacher development
