Job Summary:
The General Manager (GM) of Spa is responsible for leading all aspects of the spa’s operations, including business growth, staff management, service innovation, and guest satisfaction. The GM will drive profitability while maintaining the highest standards of service in line with luxury wellness industry expectations. This role requires a balance of strategic thinking and operational expertise to ensure the spa’s success in a competitive market.
This is a full-time position based in Bahrain.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily spa operations to ensure smooth functionality and high service standards.
- Develop and manage annual budgets, ensuring financial performance and profitability.
- Lead recruitment, training, and performance management of spa staff.
- Drive customer satisfaction through exceptional service and handling guest feedback.
- Monitor and analyze KPIs to assess spa performance and implement improvements.
- Collaborate with marketing to develop promotions, events, and client retention strategies.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
- Innovate and introduce new spa treatments and services to stay competitive.
- Maintain vendor relationships for product sourcing and spa supplies.
- Monitor inventory and manage procurement to optimize cost efficiency.
- Create a positive, motivating, and team-oriented environment for staff.
- Report regularly to senior management on operational and financial performance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred. Certifications in Spa or Wellness Management are a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years in spa or wellness management, with at least 2 years in a senior leadership role. Proven experience in luxury spa environments is essential.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.

- Financial acumen with experience managing budgets and driving revenue growth.
- Familiarity with spa management software and operational tools.
