Sayres is seeking an OneNet Service Desk Analyst in Bahrain with Secret Clearance verifiable in DISS.

This position is located in Manama Bahrain; the Kingdom of Bahrain is the perfect destination; its climate ensures that you can enjoy the warm waters of the Gulf and experience a variety of water sports and other outdoor activities throughout the year. You will have the opportunity to support Commander Naval Surface Squadron Five (CNSS-5). CNSS-5 is the executive agent for the readiness (man, train, and equip) of 4 Mine Countermeasure (MCM), and LCS ships forward deployed in Bahrain.

For a best fit for this position, your background would have experience with providing systems administration support to customers of an organization, responsible in assisting with Service Desk support, IT Services, REMEDY with change management experience is a plus.

Specific Responsibilities Include

  • Provide Tier I and II level customer service support either in-person telephonically or electronically submitted via REMEDY ticket system; escalate incidents to higher Tier when required.
  • Complete basic and advanced hardware and infrastructure work including: cable management at both workstations and in-server rooms, workstation installations, checking UPS systems, replacing hardware components of laptops & desktops, basic printer maintenance, etc.
  • Track all work incidents database tools & systems (REMEDY) ensures tickets are completed accurately and with NCTS Bahrain SLA procedures.
  • Support in and out process users, including creating accounts, setting up workstations mapping drives and printers.
  • Execute basic Active Directory tasks and manage NTFS permissions such as share folder access, etc.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve software issues with MS Office and Outlook, Adobe, Java, PKIs.
  • Participate in or lead special projects and day‐to‐day operations as needed or assigned by the Program Manager.
  • Responsible for scheduling & troubleshooting Commodore video tele-conferences (VTCs) to support required weekly VTC's.

Qualifications & Clearance Requirements

  • 10 years' experience as an Active-Duty United States Navy shipboard or shore command information systems technician (IT).
  • Active 8570 IAT II (or higher) Baseline Certification, such as: Security+|CE
  • US Secret Clearance mandatory verifiable in DISS.
  • Proficient and experienced with Microsoft Office, especially with Access, Excel and PowerPoint.

Preferred Skillsets

  • OneNet Service desk experience, REMEDY Change Management, SIPR Token Management, Asset Inventory Management, Video/Audio (VTC) experience.
