Teacher Salary & Benefits

• Start Date: August 2026
• Annual Airfare: Round-trip airfare for the employee and eligible dependents. First-year flights are arranged by the school; thereafter, a yearly ticket allowance is provided.
• Accommodation: Monthly housing allowance of BHD 190–310, based on family status.
• Vacation: National and school holidays.
• Medical Insurance: International medical insurance for the employee and eligible dependents.
• Settling-in Allowance: BHD 250 upon arrival.
• Visa Allowance: BHD 125 for employees arriving with a completed overseas work visa.
• Baggage Allowance: BHD 130 during the first contract year.
• Education Allowance: 50% tuition discount for up to two children of eligible overseas teaching staff.
• End-of-Service Benefit: In accordance with Bahrain Labour Law.
• Contract Length: 2 years, renewable by mutual agreement.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Education or a related field relevant to the teaching position.
• A recognized teaching qualification or teaching license is preferred and may be required according to Bahrain Ministry requirements.
• Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience preferred; exceptional newly qualified teachers are encouraged to apply.
• Strong knowledge of instructional strategies, curriculum planning, assessment, and classroom management.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive, and student-centered learning environment.
• Ability to integrate technology effectively into teaching and learning.
