Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Analyze project plans, specifications, and blueprints to determine the scope of work and accurately estimate electrical costs, including labor, materials, and equipment.
  • Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates, bids, and proposals for electrical projects, ensuring compliance with all project requirements and deadlines.
  • Conduct thorough quantity takeoffs, identifying and quantifying all electrical components and materials needed for each project.
  • Source and evaluate vendor and subcontractor quotes, negotiating favorable pricing and terms to maximize project profitability.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Possesses a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

  • Demonstrates a minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical estimating, with a strong understanding of commercial and industrial projects.

  • Has a proven track record of successfully estimating projects of varying sizes and complexities.
