Job Title: Technical Workshop Manager – Motor Rewinding & Overhauling

Location: Bahrain

We are looking for an experienced Technical Workshop Manager to lead our motor rewinding and overhauling workshop, serving major industrial clients in Bahrain.

The ideal candidate must have strong hands-on and management experience in electric motor repairs, rewinding, and mechanical overhauling.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily workshop operations for motor rewinding and overhauling.

• Supervise technicians, fitters, and winders.

• Plan and schedule jobs based on priority and delivery deadlines.

• Inspect incoming motors and identify faults.

• Control quality during dismantling, rewinding, assembly, and testing.

• Ensure proper testing before delivery (IR, PI, surge, no-load, load test).

• Coordinate with customers and provide technical support for quotations.

• Monitor productivity, turnaround time, and workshop KPIs.

• Manage materials, spare parts, and workshop tools.

• Maintain safety and quality standards.

Requirements:

• Minimum 10 years experience in motor rewinding and overhauling.

• Strong knowledge of LV/HV motors, generators, and rotating equipment.

• Experience in industrial repair workshops.

• Strong knowledge in winding calculations, insulation systems, varnishing, balancing, and testing.

• Good leadership and manpower management skills.

• Ability to handle urgent jobs and customer deadlines.

• Experience with industrial clients, refineries, power plants, or steel plants is preferred.

Preferred Experience:

• Motors up to 11kV

• Pumps and generators

• Root cause failure analysis

• Testing and commissioning
