We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team in Bahrain. The successful candidate will support dentists in delivering high-quality patient care, ensure smooth operation of daily clinic activities, and maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients. Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Prepare treatment areas, instruments, and materials for procedures in accordance with infection control protocols.
  • Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, including examinations, fillings, extractions, and preventive treatments.
  • Prepare and sterilize instruments, and ensure proper inventory management of dental supplies.
  • Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as directed, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
  • Capture and update patient records, including medical histories, treatment plans, and progress notes in the electronic health record system.
  • Provide chair-side support, including patient positioning, suctioning, and delivering dental materials as required.
  • Assist with patient education and post-procedure care instructions to promote optimal outcomes.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and disinfected clinical environment in compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Coordinate appointment scheduling, patient flow, and administrative tasks as needed to support front desk operations.
  • Handle minor administrative duties such as confirming appointments and processing basic insurance documentation under supervision.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university (education requirement specified).
  • Entry-level position; prior professional dental experience is beneficial but not required.
  • Basic understanding of dental terminology, radiography safety, and infection control protocols.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and procedures.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centric approach.
  • Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team and support a busy clinical environment.
  • Attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and reliability.
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in Arabic is a plus
