As a Planner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our refining processes. Your responsibilities will include developing and implementing efficient production plans, optimizing resource allocation, and coordinating with various teams to achieve operational excellence. This role requires a strategic mindset and the ability to work collaboratively within a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute comprehensive production plans, considering raw material availability, equipment capacity, and market demands.
  • Optimize resource allocation, including manpower, equipment, and materials, to maximize operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and other operational teams to ensure seamless integration of planning activities.
  • Monitor and analyze production data, identifying trends and bottlenecks, and implementing improvements to enhance overall performance.
  • Conduct regular reviews of production schedules, making adjustments as necessary to meet changing market conditions or customer requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Provide accurate and timely reports on production metrics, including yield, efficiency, and cost analysis.
  • Support the development and implementation of new processes or technologies to enhance operational capabilities.
  • Foster a collaborative environment, encouraging open communication and knowledge sharing among team members.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field, with a strong foundation in mathematics.
  • Proficiency in Arabic and English, both spoken and written, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills, with a proven track record of developing and executing complex plans.
  • Strong analytical abilities, including data interpretation and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in a refining or petrochemical environment is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Proficiency in using planning and scheduling software, as well as Microsoft Office suite.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritizing effectively.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with a collaborative and team-oriented mindset.
  • Willingness to continuously learn and adapt to new technologies and industry best practices.
  • A proactive approach to identifying and implementing process improvements.
