Job Details

Key Responsibilities:


  • Lead and supervise oil spill response teams and contractors during incidents.
  • Coordinate cleanup operations and ensure timely and effective containment, recovery, and disposal of oil spills.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and company policies.
  • Maintain readiness of oil spill response equipment and resources.
  • Provide technical guidance and training to team members.
  • Participate in emergency drills and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications & Skills:


  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Civil, Marine, Petroleum) or Environmental Marine Biology.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in oil spill response operations.
  • Thorough knowledge of oil industry products, processes, and environmental consequences of spill prevention, containment, recovery, and disposal methods.
  • Certifications: IMS Level 2/3, Incident Command System, NEBOSH International General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety.
  • Strong leadership and ability to motivate and influence others.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Effective planning and organizational skills; ability to make decisions under pressure.
  • Team player with strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Self-motivated and proactive.
