Job Description

We are seeking an experienced, strategic, and hands-on Director of Food & Beverage to lead the pre-opening and launch of all Food & Beverage operations at Tivoli Bilaj Al Jazayer Bahrain Resort and Avani Bilaj Al Jazayer Bahrain Resort.


This senior leadership role is responsible for establishing the overall F&B vision, operational structure, and service culture across both resorts. You will work closely with the Executive Chef and senior leadership team to deliver distinctive dining concepts, exceptional service standards, and strong financial performance from day one.


Key Responsibilities


  • Lead the pre-opening planning and setup of all Food & Beverage outlets, banqueting, bars, in-room dining, and service operations.


  • Establish F&B strategies, concepts, SOPs, service standards, and operating procedures aligned with Tivoli and Avani brand positioning.


  • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing F&B leadership and service team for opening and beyond.


  • Oversee daily F&B operations to ensure exceptional guest experiences, service consistency, and brand compliance.


  • Drive financial performance through effective budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and revenue optimization.


  • Collaborate closely with the Executive Chef on menu development, pricing strategies, and culinary execution.


  • Lead supplier selection, contract negotiations, and procurement processes in line with quality and budget requirements.


  • Ensure full compliance with health, safety, hygiene, and food safety regulations across all outlets.


  • Work with Sales and Marketing teams to support outlet launches, promotions, events, and destination dining strategies.


  • Monitor guest feedback, operational KPIs, and market trends to continuously improve service delivery and profitability.


This role is ideal for a pre-opening F&B leader with strong commercial acumen, brand awareness, and the ability to build exceptional teams and experiences in a luxury resort environment.



Qualifications

• College degree in Hotel Management or related field

• 2 years of experience in a Food & Beverage or Kitchen Management role

• Strong commercial/business acumen

• Passion for leadership and teamwork

• Passion for operational excellence

• Good communication skills, both verbal and written
