About the Role:
To assist the Chef de Partie in preparing, cooking, baking, and presenting products within their designated section.
Activities:
- Assist in the preparation and cooking of high-quality baked/Pastry/Hot & Cold dishes according to the menu and standards set by the head chef.
- Ensure all ingredients are prepared and portioned correctly.
- Follow recipes and presentation guidelines to maintain consistency.
- Take responsibility for the specific section, ensuring products are produced in accordance with the prescribed
- standards under the guidance of the Chef de Partie.
- Ensure the section is organized, clean, and well-stocked with necessary ingredients.
- Assist in managing inventory levels and reducing waste.
- Helps in maintaining cost control by using ingredients efficiently and minimizing spoilage.
- Maintain high standards of food hygiene and safety.
Requirement:
The Potential candidates must meet the requirements mentioned below:
- Degree or Diploma in Hotel Management or Culinary Arts
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role.
- Knowledge of bakery and pastry production methods.
- Good written and spoken English essential.
- Knowledge of HACCP, hygiene, and food safety procedures.
