A consultancy office seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Site Engineer / Site Coordinator to join our team.
The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring smooth coordination between the project office and site activities, maintaining quality standards, and supporting overall project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate day-to-day site activities and supervise works to ensure compliance with design, specifications, and safety standards.
- Act as a liaison between project stakeholders (consultants, contractors, suppliers, and client representatives).
- Prepare and manage correspondence, reports, and documentation related to site activities.
- Monitor project timelines, identify potential delays, and propose corrective actions.
- Follow up on materials procurement, handling, and delivery to ensure smooth progress on-site.
- Support logistics planning, including site access, workforce scheduling, and equipment allocation.
- Review and evaluate contractor invoices, progress claims, and variations.
- Ensure compliance with project quality, safety, and environmental requirements.
- Maintain accurate site records, including daily reports, inspections, and meeting minutes.
- Assist in preparing project schedules and progress reports.
- Support risk management by identifying issues early and escalating where necessary.
- Track project KPIs to support management in decision-making.
- Contribute to cost control by monitoring resources and site expenditures.
- Support project close-out activities, including handover documentation and snagging follow-up.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant site supervision or coordination experience.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in project management tools, MS Office, and AutoCAD, Revit, MS Project .
- Ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Must have Valid driving license
