  • Enhancing the menus and platters of associated restaurants to satisfied customers and improve business.
  • Identify the ingredient requirements by analyzing the inventory, and place orders and communicate information to the respective authorities.
  • Frequently monitoring the ingredients stock to detect requirements and place orders ensuring the expenses are within the company budget.

Job Description: Executive Pastry Chef

  • Develop and oversee all pastry and bakery products for the company.
  • Create and update the pastry menu, ensuring a variety of attractive and innovative offerings.
  • Manage and supervise the pastry team, providing guidance and training as needed.
  • Ensure high quality and consistency in pastry production and presentation.
  • Monitor food costs and maintain proper inventory levels of pastry supplies.
  • Collaborate with other chefs and departments to create and execute special events and menus.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and incorporate new techniques and ingredients into pastry creations.

  • Strong knowledge of pastry and bakery techniques, ingredients, and equipment.
  • Ability to create and present aesthetically pleasing and flavorful pastry products.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Time management and organizational skills.

Desired Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Executive Pastry Chef.
  • Experience in a high-volume, fine dining or luxury hotel environment.
