Key Responsibilities:
- Translate written materials, including documents, reports, and publications, from source language to target language with high accuracy.
- Ensure that translations are culturally appropriate and meet the needs of the intended audience.
- Review and edit translated materials for grammatical, stylistic, and content accuracy.
- Collaborate with other team members and departments to produce high-quality translations.
- Maintain terminology databases and glossaries to ensure consistency in translations.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in language services.
- Manage project deadlines and communicate progress effectively to stakeholders.
- Engage in continuous learning and professional development to enhance translation skills.
Skills
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Translation, Linguistics, or a related field.
- Fluency in at least two languages, including Arabic and English.
- Strong understanding of grammar, syntax, and cultural nuances of both source and target languages.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in using translation software and tools.
Desired Experience:
- A minimum of 5 years and a maximum of 10 years of professional translation experience.
- Experience in specialized fields such as legal, medical, or technical translation is preferred.
- A history of working in a collaborative environment is a plus.
