DHL Global Forwarding has an opening for Sale Support Intern in Bahrain. In this specific you will provide day-to-day sale Support with readily advice process and activities to effectively manage the customer’s inquiries, quotation request, customer service-related feedback and general inquiries in line with the business needs, stakeholder requirements, group guidelines and policies.

In this Sale Support Intern position

 

During this internship, you will be learning from our senior experts. Your daily job scope consists of different areas within the department of Sales.

  • You will begin your role by sitting with the Sales Support to learn Incoterms and how to manage enquiries, along with understanding how to manage internal and external stakeholders.
  • You will learn and understand escalation to the Pricing Team and Product Heads as and when necessary.
  • You will accept enquiries from customers and quote them, along with immediate follow-up.
  • You will proactively follow up with customers.
  • You will proactively research for new Sales Leads and call customers to generate new business during Q1.
  • You will be put on soft GP Targets by Q2 to support in your learning on how to manage customers and onboard new businesses.
  • You will take and process customer feedback and ask for Customer Service-related feedback (e.g., follow-up on complaint handling).
  • You will collaborate with all internal stakeholders for smooth handling of shipments as and when necessary.
  • You will keep customers close to ensure the best customer service levels are delivered.
           

Now, here’s what we need from you.

   
  • Diploma and/or Degree in Logistics, Transportation, and/or Business Studies with minor in logistics and

supply chain.

  • It will be added advantage if you have previous experience dealing with customers.
  • Being able to write and speak professionally in English.
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
  • Can-do attitude, hard-working and enthusiastic
  • Good administrative skills, results-driven and detail-oriented
  • Organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail
  • Ability to handle multiple and hanging priorities.
  • Ability to work effectively, independently and in a Team environment.
  • Self-motivated and hardworking
