Summary

You will serve as a SUPERVISORY CONTRACT SPECIALIST in the NAVAL SUPPLY SYSTEMS COMMAND of NAVSUP FLC BAH GF Bahrain.

In addition to the Basic Education Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year ofexperience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience may include: 1) Developing, providing, executing and maintaining all aspects of contract support; 2) Conducting acquisition planning and contract pre-award functions to include: determining method of procurement and contract type, documenting the acquisition strategy, and obtaining appropriate approvals; 3) Preparing solicitations containing appropriate provisions, clauses, terms and conditions that communicate requirements to industry; 4) Administering contracts to include contract scope determinations, contract modifications, supplemental agreements, justifications, approval reviews/fair opportunity evaluations and claims disputes, and contract terminations; 5) Interpreting and applying relevant laws, regulations, policies, standards, or procedures to contracting issues; 6) Developing business clearances detailing the pre-negotiation position utilizing audits, technical reports, and cost and/or price analysis.
