Job brief

We are looking for an enthusiastic Communications Specialist to manage our external and internal communications. You will promote a positive public image and control the dissemination of information about MSCEB.

Responsibilities

·        Copywriting skills are required.

  • Develop effective corporate communication strategies & Project Management.
  • Manage internal communications such as events and newsletters.
  • Draft content (e.g. press releases & social media) for mass media or company website.
  • Organize initiatives and plan events or press conferences.
  • Liaise with media and handle requests for interviews, statements.
  • Foster relationships with advocates and key persons.
  • Collaborate with marketing professionals to produce copies for advertisements or articles.
  • Maintain organizational image and promote culture.
  • Facilitate with the public or external vendors.
  • Assist in communication of strategies or messages from senior leadership.

 

Requirements and skills

·        Experience with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, preferably with experience in After Effects & Premiere for video & photo editing is a plus.

·        Experience in videography and photography.

  • Proven experience as communications specialist. 2-3 years’ experience.
  • Experience in web design and content production is a plus.
  • Experience in copywriting and editing.
  • Solid understanding of project management principles.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Outstanding organizational and planning abilities
  • Proficient command of English & Arabic.
  • BSc/BA in Marketing, communications, multimedia, public relations or relevant field.
