Sales and Events Executive

Ramada by Wyndham Manama City Centre is now looking for Sales and Events Executive to join their hotel team!




The Event Sales Executive will be responsible for managing meeting territories, Events, Weddings and achieve yearly revenue goals by developing accounts and business opportunities in coordination with Director of Sales and Marketing.





Responsibilities:

  • Proactively lead in the conversion of enquiries by following up queries within agreed timelines to confirm event sales and bookings
  • Conduct show rounds with potential clients demonstrating a good knowledge of the venue and its offerings
  • Ensure that all incoming requests are addressed within 24 hours in order to avoid customer complaints and loss of business
  • Develop the client base by proactively reaching out to new clients and businesses
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, competitive positioning, and opportunities for growth in target market segments, and provide insights and recommendations to inform sales and marketing strategies.
  • Work in partnership with our operations teams to make sure your events are spot on
  • To gain new accounts while maintaining and prospecting established accounts under the guidance and supervision of the Director of Sales
  • Professionally conduct routine telemarketing activities to identify new clients for social and wedding events.
  • Provide feedback to the Director of Sales and marketing on changing market conditions, review direct competition and conduct regular research to identify new selling strategies Attends and contributes to all meetings as required.
  • Ensure to provide a courteous and professional service at all times.
  • Closely monitor the accounts revenue and business production of own business portfolio and maintain an up to date “Account & Contact Database” in the property management system as well as maintain end of month production reports
  • Work closely with the Sales & Revenue Department as the point of contact for all F&B related bookings and enquiries, in close coordination with the Outlet Managers to promote special events and occasions
  • Follow up with client contact at the end of each meeting to ensure satisfaction and obtain feedback




Experience needed

  • 3 year of Event sales related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
  • Candidate with F&B or Banquet experience is preferred.
