Senior Quantity Surveyor

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 6 to 8 years of experience in estimation within the construction industry, with at least 4 years of experience specifically in Bahrain. Additionally, candidates should possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in maintenance project estimation.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects, including materials, labor, equipment, and overheads.
  • Conduct thorough analysis of project specifications and drawings to ensure accurate pricing.
  • Collaborate with project managers and engineers to develop budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Monitor project costs throughout the lifecycle to ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.
  • Provide advice on procurement strategies and assist in the selection of subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Prepare tender documents and manage the tendering process, including bid evaluations.
  • Conduct risk assessments related to cost management and provide recommendations for mitigation.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of all financial transactions related to projects.
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to resolve any issues that may arise during the project lifecycle.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to quantity surveying.


Qualifications:

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechnical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 06 to 08 years of relevant experience in quantity surveying with strong expertise in estimation.
  • At least 04 years of experience working within Bahrain’s construction sector.
  • Minimum 02 years of experience specifically focused on maintenance project estimation.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy in cost estimation.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
