Role Description
UTB is seeking a full-time assistant professor in artificial intelligence who will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students, conducting cutting-edge research in AI, publishing findings in reputable journals, contributing to curriculum development, collaborating with industry partners, and engaging in university service through committee work and outreach.
Qualifications
- PhD in Artificial Intelligence
- Demonstrated expertise in areas such as Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, Mobile Programming, or Computer Graphics
- Previous experience as an Assistant Professor at an HEC-recognized institution or a highly reputable university.
- Minimum of 2 years of post-PhD teaching experience, with readiness to engage in course development and establish professional certifications
- Proven track record of excellence in teaching, research, and learning
- Strong publication record, including internationally indexed journals (SCOPUS), academic journals, or books post-PhD
- Strong potential for developing and leading a research program
- Experience supervising undergraduate or graduate students and contributing to academic or administrative tasks
- Excellent communication, presentation skills, and experience in utilizing diverse teaching methods such as problem-based or project-based learning
- Active participation in research projects, academic societies, and recognized scholarly events
- A passionate team player, committed to enhancing education, research, and the student experience
- Willingness to contribute actively to the academic community
