ROLE PURPOSE:
To provide the point of contact between maintenance and all other departments including Flight Dispatch, Network Control Group, MX Outstation Support, etc… Assisting the Maintenance Line Supervisors to plan defect rectification, scheduled and preventative maintenance. Ensures that highest levels of dispatch reliability figures for the airline is achieved.
YOUR TASKS:
- Maintain oversight & coordinate all AOG Aircraft back into service in a safety compliant & efficient manner.
- Liaise with the Planning department & Network Operations Control to ensure effective optimization for maintenance decisions on schedule changes to resolve conflicts between scheduled maintenance and the daily operations flight schedule.
- Liaise with the Planning department for the completion of all scheduled maintenance in accordance with the operators Approved Maintenance Program.
- Control and progress timely closure of all carried defects under the Operators Minimum Equipment list & ensure all maintenance remains in compliance with MEL Limitations.
- Continuous Monitoring and control of repetitive defects using reliability data providing troubleshooting support for defect rectification.
- Continuous Management & control of the on board carried flyaway kit to further reduce operator service interruptions at outstations and improve technical dispatch reliability.
- Organize and manage outstation third party service providers support to provide optimum service levels to the Operator addressing any shortfalls in service.
- Communicate flight schedules & organise third party support at outstations where support agreements are in place. In the event of a defect down route the MOC Manager is the point of contact with the contracted organisation to return the aircraft to service.
- Responsibility to Chair and Minute the Daily Maintenance Operations Meeting to follow up and address repetitive defects and open technical issues.
- Liaise with Type Cert Holders & Original Equipment Manufacturers to submit service requests on behalf of the AMO.
- Any reasonable request from DHL Management.
- Liaise with the Materials Section & the Engineering Section to ensure provision of material , tooling and equipment required for Deferrals & open technical requests.
- Additional projects from time to time as directed by the Maintenance Manager.
YOUR PROFILE:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Maintenance Operations Control. License Aircraft Maintenance Engineer B1 and/or B2 is required
- Excellent Software skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Experience using My Boeing Fleet, General Electric and Stream application is an advantage.
- Experience with the Trax Maintenance systems or other similar maintenance software is an advantage.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
