Job Responsibilities:
- Assist bartenders in maintaining a well-stocked bar by replenishing supplies, such as ice, napkins, and straws.
- Prepare garnishes and beverage ingredients for service.
- Clean and organize bar areas to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
- Assist in setting up and breaking down bar stations before and after service.
- Follow standard operating procedures for handling glassware and bar equipment.
- Support bartenders during service by promptly responding to their requests.
Skills
Essential Qualifications:
- Prior experience working as a barback or similar role in a fine-dining establishment.
- Knowledge of bar operations, including mixing drinks, preparing garnishes, and handling bar tools.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with the bar team.
Desired Experience:
- Experience in a standalone fine-dining restaurant is preferred.
- Familiarity with luxury service standards and the ability to deliver exceptional customer service.
