  • Job Responsibilities:
  • Assist Head Chef in preparing high-quality Italian cuisine, with a focus on pasta and pizza dishes.
  • Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation in the absence of the Head Chef.
  • Ensure adherence to recipes, portion sizes, and quality standards.
  • Coordinate with kitchen staff to maintain a smooth workflow and timely service.
  • Monitor food stock levels and place orders as needed.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen.


Skills

  • Essential Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef or relevant role in Italian cuisine.
  • Knowledge of traditional Italian cooking techniques and ingredients.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Attention to detail and a passion for creating exceptional dishes.
  • Desired Experience:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Experience working in a high-volume kitchen.
  • Experience with menu planning and cost control.
