Job Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the culinary team in a standalone restaurant setting.
- Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and presentation.
- Ensure high-quality food standards are maintained and meet customers' expectations.
- Manage inventory, control food costs, and optimize kitchen operations for efficiency.
- Train and mentor kitchen staff, ensuring compliance with sanitation and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with restaurant management to develop new menu items and culinary techniques.
Skills
Essential Qualifications:
- Minimum of 12 years of experience in culinary arts and kitchen management.
- Degree or certification in Culinary Arts or related field.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a culinary team.
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and culinary techniques.
Desired Experience:
- Experience working in standalone restaurants or fine dining establishments.
- Previous experience in creating and executing innovative menus.
- Familiarity with Bahraini cuisine and local ingredients is a plus.
