This established group manages a portfolio of industry-leading companies across core disciplines within the built environment. They are currently looking to hire a Procurement Specialist to be based in Bahrain.
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Greet all Develop and implement sourcing strategies to identify and qualify potential suppliers.
• Research and analyze market trends and pricing to ensure cost-effective purchases.
• Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure the best possible terms and conditions.
• Manage the procurement process, including issuing purchase orders, tracking deliveries, and resolving any issues.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with suppliers.
• Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and procedures.
• Analyze procurement data and identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvement.
• Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and procurement regulations.
Qualification & Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Previous experience in procurement or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
