Job Description: Pastry Chef at Group Restaurants

Job Responsibilities:

  • Plan and oversee the daily operations of the pastry department across multiple restaurants within the group
  • Create and prepare a wide variety of pastries, desserts, and baked goods
  • Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage food costs
  • Train and mentor pastry cooks and other kitchen staff
  • Ensure high quality and presentation standards are met for all pastry items
  • Develop new recipes and menu items to attract customers and enhance the dining experience
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations in the kitchen


Skills

Essential Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent leadership and organizational skills
  • Creative mindset and passion for pastry arts
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities

Desired Experience:

  • Maximum of 3 years of experience in a pastry chef position
