We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Italian CDC to join our team in Manama, Bahrain. As an Italian CDC, you will be responsible for overseeing the culinary operations of our Italian restaurant. You will ensure that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards and that the kitchen operates smoothly.

Responsibilities:

  1. Plan and direct food preparation and culinary activities
  2. Supervise and coordinate activities of cooks and other food preparation workers
  3. Develop recipes and determine appropriate ingredients and portion sizes
  4. Maintain food quality standards and ensure consistency in taste and presentation
  5. Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations
  6. Monitor and control food costs and inventory levels
  7. Train and mentor kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and procedures
  8. Manage kitchen staff schedules and ensure adequate staffing levels
  9. Collaborate with restaurant management to create new dishes and menus
  10. Stay updated on industry trends and new techniques in Italian cuisine

Preferred Candidate:

  1. Proven experience as an Italian CDC or similar role
  2. Extensive knowledge of Italian cuisine and cooking techniques
  3. Strong leadership and management skills
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  5. Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
  6. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  7. In-depth knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
  8. Ability to create and modify recipes to meet customer preferences and dietary restrictions
  9. Ability to mentor and train kitchen staff
  10. Flexible schedule and availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
