Job Description: Chief Accountant for Restaurant Business Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Chief Accountant to join our restaurant business, responsible for managing three accounts, two buyers, and a cost accountant. As the Chief Accountant, your main role will be to oversee the financial operations of the company and ensure compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). Your responsibilities will include managing financial statements, forecasting, budgeting, auditing, and tax filings. The ideal candidate must be a Bahraini holding a degree in accounting and at least 4 years of working experience in the field. The candidate should have a strong work ethic, excellent communication, and interpersonal skills, and be able to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision. Professional accounting accreditation is a plus. Responsibilities:

• Oversee the financial operations of the company, including financial statement preparation, budgeting, forecasting, and tax filings.
• Supervise, guide and train three accountants, two buyers, and a cost accountant, providing support as needed.
• Ensure compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and other relevant accounting regulations.
• Conduct regular audits of financial records to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Manage cash flow and develop financial models to support decision-making.
• Prepare and present financial reports to senior management and other stakeholders.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Continuously monitor industry trends and best practices to ensure the company remains up-to-date with accounting standards and practices.

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in accounting, preferably in the restaurant industry.
• Strong knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and other relevant accounting regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
• Professional accounting accreditation is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software.
• Fluent in English and Arabic.
