Role Overview
We’re looking for a Procurement Associate to source food and non-food items for our new product launches and marketing campaigns. You’ll be working closely with our Food and Marketing teams to source the required materials, from searching for suppliers and sharing samples with the team, to sharing a competitive analysis for the different sources. Main Responsibilities
- Work with the marketing team on finding suppliers, sourcing samples, and testing new merch materials/printed materials/brochures required for the marketing campaigns.
- Work with the Food team to understand the requirements of buying new ingredients and samples for food trials.
- Share the estimated cost of new materials with a competitive analysis of different sources.
- Propose alternative solutions for the requested materials based on the team’s needs.
- Act as the connection point between Marketing Team, Food Team, and product supply team through finding and qualifying new materials.
- Form a basic knowledge of the material qualification process.
Qualifications
- Good written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for details and accuracy.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft softwares.
- Ability to move fast when sourcing new materials and sharing samples with the team.
- Flexible, results-oriented, and able to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to source internationally for specialized products.
- Basic knowledge of the procurement process and food storage conditions is preferrable.
- Must have a valid driving license in Bahrain.
