The Opportunity:
Four Seasons Bahrain Bay is currently looking for a Purchasing receiver.
What You Will Be Responsible For:
Essential functions for the position include but not limited to the followings:
1.Contribute to overall operational efficiency of the section, to ensure day-to-day operational efficiency of the section.
2.Verify purchase requisition.
3.Visit market to get information of current supplying situation.
4.Keep contact with suppliers to obtain market information and negotiation.
5.Invite quotations with suppliers to obtain market information and negotiation.
6.Follow up on purchase requisition and purchase order passed for final approval.
7.Follow up on purchase orders and expedite delivery.
8.Check periodically the incoming goods upon delivery.
9.Negotiate with selected purveyors and obtain quotations.
10.Prepare comparison of tenders for purchasing decisions of food and beverage items.
11.Advise sample testing of Food and Beverage Items.
12.Search for reliable suppliers for smooth operation of the Company.
Qualifications for Receiver
Requires reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language.
Ability to work independently.
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
Excellent organizational skills
Knowledge and Microsoft Office systems, including Word and Excel
Proven knowledge of inventory practices in the hospitality industry
Previous experience in Purchasing and Food & Beverage
Flexible schedule required to include weekends and holidays.
