We are mandated on a confidential search for a Senior Manager / AVP – FX Trader with a leading, top-tier financial institution headquartered in the Middle East. The organisation is the largest financial institution in its home market and one of the most established and well-capitalised banking groups in the region, with a strong international footprint across multiple countries.
This is a hands-on proprietary FX trading role, focused on G10 currencies, within a high-performing and expanding trading desk. The role reports directly to the Chief FX Dealer, offering strong visibility and the opportunity to play a key role in desk performance and strategy.
Role Overview
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Proprietary trading across G10 FX currency pairs Full P&L ownership within defined risk parameters Developing and executing trading strategies and market ideas Contributing to overall desk performance and risk discipline Working closely with senior traders and management Mentoring and supporting junior traders as the team expands
Requirements:
8 - 10+ years of total financial markets experience Minimum 3+ years of hands-on FX / G10 trading experience Demonstrated track record of profitability Strong knowledge of FX markets, trade execution, and risk management Excellent analytical and decision-making capabilities Bachelor’s degree or higher (required for work eligibility) Willingness to relocate within the Middle East
