Role Summary

Project Planner are responsible to estimate a timescale for a project and to ensure that the outlined deadlines are met. They work closely with site managers and other engineers to ensure a project runs on schedule and that material supplies are sufficient.

Role Description

Project Management Planning, Cost management, Time management including all activities that shall enhance project performance as well as the setting out department’s functionality and output.

Pre-contract and post contract participation in planning, sending out RFQ’s and assembling supplier quotes, details for ordering etc Coordination with procurement department on follow up and follow through of orders, delivery dates, escalating when required and resolving issues Act as an interface between company and external parties and client for ensuring procurement is completed and closed out Acting as a link between client and Setting Out team on projects assigned Participating in initial review of new jobs and highlighting RFI’s, scope of work and discrepancies. Function as an effective interface in overlooking items in production and clearing up any communication issues, coordination between production and setting out team Assist in managing project correspondence with external parties Assist in collating / understanding and highlighting implications of technical information for materials to be used Participate in team meetings and generate when required follow up notes and report to catalyze follow through and accountability Contribute to increasing team efficiency by giving support operationally and administratively proposing innovations in procedure if it is deemed necessary Effective interface between procurement, clients and setting out team as directed by Project Director Coordination of interfaces between client/external parties and internal parties as directed by Project Director Effective presentation and reporting skills capable of perceiving project phases and plotting dependencies on tracking reports to facilitate follow through and organization Maintaining effective communication with subcontractors and suppliers to assure timely and efficient completion of jobs, clear communication of issues, and clear documentation of entire process with job site team

Candidate Requirements

7-10 years’ Experience in a fitout company 5-Star hotels, Public Areas, and Rooms Commercial Projects are additional advantage Has worked on High Rise buildings projects Preferably located in Jeddah, however, willing to be relocated to different cities in KSA Ready to join as soon as possible Worked on Extension of Time using different techniques Baseline Schedules, updates, EVM, Weekly and monthly reports Preparing the dashboards Worked on Primavera P6, MS Project will be an advantage Understanding the proper sequencing of the project Working on Multiple projects
