Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Optometrist, located in Capital Governorate, Bahrain. The Optometrist will perform comprehensive eye examinations to assess vision and overall eye health, diagnose vision abnormalities, and prescribe corrective lenses. Responsibilities include fitting and dispensing eyeglasses, contact lenses, and other visual aids, as well as educating patients about proper eye care and vision maintenance. The Optometrist will work closely with other healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient care and stay up-to-date with advancements in optometry practices and technologies.

Qualifications

Proficiency in conducting comprehensive eye exams, diagnosing visual impairments, and recommending treatment options Skills in prescribing, fitting, and dispensing eyeglasses, contact lenses, and other vision correction solutions Knowledge of ocular diseases, assessment techniques, and basic treatment processes Strong communication skills to educate patients on eye care and respond to their concerns effectively Attention to detail with excellent record-keeping and patient documentation skills Licensed to practice optometry in Bahrain or eligible for licensure Experience with modern diagnostic equipment and familiarity with technological advancements in eye care practices B. optometry/M.optometry degree from an accredited program
