Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Internal Audit Officer to join our team at CFI. As an Internal Audit Officer, you will be responsible for performing independent and objective audits, and evaluations of the organization’s operations, internal controls, and compliance with regulatory and organizational policies.

Responsibilities:

Plan and execute financial, operational, and compliance audits, including evaluating the effectiveness of internal controls and risk management processes.

• Ensure the organization complies with internal policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements.

• Utilize data analytics tools and techniques to analyze large datasets.

• Prepare and present clear, concise, and timely audit reports, highlighting key findings and recommendations.

• Work closely with management and staff to facilitate understanding and acceptance of audit findings and recommendations, and support the implementation of improvements.

• Follow-up and ensure the implementation of audit recommendations and corrective actions.

• Stay informed of industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes to ensure the audit function remains relevant and effective.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Minimum 3 years of internal auditing experience, preferably in financial services industry.

Skills:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.

• Good understanding of clients onboarding procedures.

• Strong understanding of internal control frameworks.
