Job Title: HSE Officer

Location: Amman, Jordan


IDMI, a leading industrial company, is seeking a dedicated and experienced HSE Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in health, safety, and environmental management within industrial companies. This is an excellent opportunity to play a critical role in maintaining a safe and compliant workplace.


Key Responsibilities:


• Develop and implement environmental, health, and safety policies, procedures, and guidelines.

• Conduct regular inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and recommend appropriate safety measures.

• Provide training and support to employees in environmental, health, and safety practices.

• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to environmental, health, and safety.

• Investigate incidents and accidents, identify root causes, and recommend preventive actions.

• Ensure compliance with all relevant environmental, health, and safety laws, regulations, and industry standards.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement safety improvement initiatives.

• Stay up to date with current trends and best practices in environmental, health, and safety.


Qualification Requirements:


• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• Proven experience as a Health & Safety Manager or a similar role, with at least 5 years of experience in industrial companies.

• Strong knowledge of health and safety laws, regulations, and best industry standards.

• Experience in conducting risk assessments and implementing safety measures.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

• Attention to detail, problem-solving, reporting, and presentation skills.

• Professional certifications in health and safety, such as NEBOSH or OSHA are preferred.

• Approved Jordanian MOL OSH practitioner (Specialist or Supervisor).
