As the Export Manager for our food and beverage products, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our export operations, ensuring efficient and effective distribution of our products to international markets. Your primary duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Market Research and Analysis:
  • Conducting comprehensive market research to identify potential export markets and opportunities for expansion.
  • Analyzing market trends, consumer preferences, and competitor activities to develop strategic export plans.
  • Business Development:
  • Developing and implementing strategies to penetrate new markets and increase market share.
  • Establishing and maintaining relationships with distributors, agents, and other partners in target markets.
  • Negotiating contracts and agreements with international clients and partners.
  • Logistics and Supply Chain Management:
  • Coordinating with production, logistics, and supply chain teams to ensure timely delivery of products to international customers.
  • Managing shipping schedules, customs clearance, and transportation logistics to optimize efficiency and minimize costs.
  • Monitoring inventory levels and forecasting demand to meet customer requirements.
  • Regulatory Compliance:
  • Ensuring compliance with international trade regulations, customs requirements, and food safety standards.
  • Obtaining necessary licenses, permits, and certifications for exporting products to different countries.
  • Keeping abreast of changes in export regulations and advising management on compliance issues.
  • Marketing and Promotion:
  • Collaborating with the marketing team to develop marketing materials and promotional campaigns tailored to international markets.
  • Participating in trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events to showcase our products and expand brand awareness globally.
  • Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
  • Tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) related to export sales, revenue, and market share.
  • Generating regular reports and presentations to update management on export activities, achievements, and challenges.

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, International Business, Marketing, or related field. Master's degree preferred.Proven experience in export management within the food and beverage industry, with a strong track record of achieving sales targets and expanding market presence.In-depth knowledge of international trade regulations, customs procedures, and food safety standards.Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Proficiency in relevant software applications, including MS Office suite and ERP systems.Fluency in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
