The role of Strategy Specialist is responsible for supporting and assisting in the formulation, implementation, and monitoring of enterprise-wide strategic initiatives that drive the company's growth and operational efficiency. This role will be guiding and supporting the strategy development process across the organization and work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure that strategic initiatives are effectively developed, communicated, and executed.

Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the development of long-term strategic plans and short-term initiatives through structured analysis and close collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Assist in creating business models, financial projections, and risk assessments to support strategic decision-making and organizational planning.

- Prepare strategic documents, reports, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders to communicate plans, analyses, and recommendations.
- Perform market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and threats that shape strategic priorities.
- Gather and analyze data from various sources to generate insights and support the formulation and evaluation of strategic initiatives.
- Plan and facilitate strategic planning sessions, workshops, and meetings with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to refine goals and ensure alignment.
- Coordination Communication of strategic objectives and support change-management efforts to enable effective adoption and execution of strategic plans across departments.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends to identify improvement opportunities and enhance strategic planning methodologies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or a related field. A Master’s degree is desired.
- Minimum of 7 years of proven experience in in strategy development, business analysis, or a related role is preferred, preferably within the energy or refining industry.
- Exposure to ESG or sustainability practices is an advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed recommendations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly and concisely.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and familiarity with data analysis tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
- High level of attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of strategic planning frameworks and methodologies is a plus.
