Operations & Business Development Manager – Waste management Collection
1. Business Development & Key Accounts
- Identify, approach, and sign contracts with key accounts
- Build long-term relationships and ensure account exclusivity.
- Negotiate commercial terms and grow monthly collection volumes.
- Represent the company professionally in all commercial engagements.
2. Operations & Driver Management
- Manage drivers and collection teams on a daily basis.
- Prepare and distribute weekly and daily collection schedules.
- Ensure on-time collections, route efficiency, and fuel cost control.
- Monitor driver performance and enforce company policies.
3. Warehouse & Inventory Control
- Supervise the warehouse/storekeeper.
- Ensure accurate inventory records (incoming, storage, dispatch).
- Monitor tanks, and bulk storage.
- Ensure no loss, leakage, or manipulation of stock.
4. Quality Control
- Ensure quality standards (no hazardous waste).
- Inspect incoming waste and reject non-compliant loads.
- Coordinate with management on quality issues and supplier penalties.
5. Reporting & Fraud Monitoring
- Submit daily and monthly reports covering:
- Collected volumes
- Key account performance
- Driver activity
- Inventory movement
- Support management in fraud monitoring and loss prevention.
- Flag irregularities, manipulation, or performance gaps immediately.
