KEY RESPONSIBILITIES, ACCOUNTABILITIES AND ACTIVITIES
General
• Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP or IFRS.
• Manage general ledger activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close processes.
• Conduct financial analysis to identify trends and variances that support budgetary decisions.
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate processing of transactions.
• Collaborate with external auditors and provide necessary documentation and support during audits.
• Mentor and train junior accounting staff, providing guidance on best practices and professional development.
• Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
BACKGROUND, QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Qualifications
• 5+ years of experience in accounting or finance, with at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory role.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional accounting certification (CA, CPA, ACCA) preferred.
